08-17-07: HITEC Highlighted At Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce VIP Reception
CHICAGO-As part of the presentation for the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's (IHCC) VIP Reception, one of the Hispanic IT Executive Council's (HITEC) founding members took the opportunity to highlight the growing organization and its purpose to about 100 attendees. HITEC vice-chairman David H. Segura, was featured as a part of the event to talk about the importance of diversity and highlight the great work that the IHCC has done to help Hispanic businesses and professionals.
"The IHCC has remained dedicated to connecting talented Hispanic professionals from around the nation," said Segura. "We thank IHCC for providing an environment for more corporations and executives to learn about what we are building within HITEC."
The event, sponsored by J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, was attended by several representatives of the IHCC's many sponsoring corporations who all were excited to hear about HITEC and its purpose.
In addition to Segura, other HITEC members were in attendance. Raphael Diaz, CIO for the State of Illinois, Darrell Higueros, president of NextGeneration, and Ray Arias president of AriaIS were all introduced to the audience.
