07-18-07: Disney Director of Application Development and Support Added to HITEC Board of Directors

DETROIT-Today officials for the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) announced the addition of Alejandro Mainetto, Director of Application Development and Support for the Walt Disney Company to its board of directors.

 

With more than a decade of management and leadership experience in the information technology arena, Mainetto currently manages a team responsible for the architecture, design, development, implementation and general oversight of corporate and enterprise business systems, representing a portfolio of several hundred applications for the Walt Disney Company.

 

"We are absolutely elated to have someone with the knowledge and background of Alejandro represented on our distinguished board," said David Olivencia, HITEC president. "Alejandro is another example of the dynamic Hispanic IT talent representing a wide range of industries that HITEC aims to promote. He will surely add tremendous value to the work of HITEC moving forward."

 

HITEC was founded in December 2006 by senior Hispanic IT executives who have built successful careers in information technology and collectively shared a strong desire to make an impact within the Hispanic community by helping others reach the highest levels within information technology.

 

HITEC will provide these executives with professional development and networking opportunities to help them become future leaders with the IT industry. HITEC will also serve in a strong advisory role for large organizations in helping to identify the most promising and savvy diverse talent within information technology.
