Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) Q2 Executive Summit Set for May 19th-21th, 2011

The Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC) will host the Spring 2011 HITEC Executive Summit at Verizon Center and the Dolce Hotel in Basking Ridge, New Jersey from May 19^th through 21^st, 2011. The two and a half day symposium comprised of panel discussions, breakout lunches and networking events, where an innovative environment will be cultivated, is sponsored by Verizon.

The key theme "Evolution in the Technology Industry” will focus on "The Impacts of the next Generation of Mobile Technology,” "How to Leverage Cloud Computing for Business Advantage,” among other dramatically changing topics about the IT industry and how we can react or be proactive in strategy.

"We are more than excited to announce the kickoff of an exciting series of keynote speakers, A Salute to Women IT Executives, and our first speakers Blanca Treviño, CEO, Softtek, and Christine Rice, President of VisionIT, ” said HITEC Board Member, Yamilet Torres. "As more and more women enter into the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) arenas, HITEC needs to be at the forefront highlighting what women, especially Hispanic women, have done to become the successes that they are today.”
