The HITEC Foundation and Freddie Mac Award $30,000 to Grant Winner and Unveils Their First Mobile Lab at Lincoln Multicultural Middle School

Columbia Heights Educational Campus (CHEC) is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of their first mobile lab at Lincoln Multicultural Middle School. The computer lab was made possible through the receipt of a $30,000 grant funded by Freddie Mac. The grant is part of the HITEC Foundation’s mission, to shape the technology of tomorrow through cultivation of the leadership potential of today’s Hispanic youths and to increase their representation in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) related pursuits.
