HITEC Corporate Board Programs 

Board Fit Program

HITEC’s Board Fit program presented by KPMG is designed for senior technology executives seeking to enhance their understanding of the boardroom and have an interest in positioning themselves as candidates for a corporate board seat. The program is a three-part series offered as a breakout session at the next HITEC leadership summits beginning with the HITEC Silicon Valley Leadership Summit this November.

Program: the three sessions will provide insights on emerging trends and leading practices in corporate governance, board oversight of strategy and risk, and other board topics.

Criteria:

  •  HITEC Member
  •  VP-level and above (Fortune 500 company) or C-Level (start up/mid-size company)(start-up/mid-size companies)
  •  Sponsor or HITEC Board recommendation

Emerging Director Board Program

HITEC’s Emerging Director Board program presented by KPMG is designed for C-level members seeking to deepen their boardroom knowledge and enhance their positioning as a candidate for a corporate board seat.  

Program: The duration of the program is 9 months and includes participation in the Board Fit program, bi-monthly virtual sessions, and 1:1 mentorship by experienced board members. The Board Fit sessions will provide insights on emerging trends and leading practices in corporate governance, board oversight of strategy and risk, and other board topics.

 

Criteria:

  •  HITEC Member
  •  C-Level
  •  Sponsor or HITEC Board recommendation
